For someone like me who has a chronic disease that can get in the way of living normally, it's nice to be able to work at home when you want.

Tonight, I'm transcribing a video and watching the NBA Finals.

Transcribing and typing from home is a real option in these down times, however it is not for everyone. First off, you should test yourself to see if you'd be able to do it. Find free typing and transcription tests online to test your ability and speed. Be aware though that these tests would not be the norm for actual transcription work. It is a start, so try it.
